West Texas Kayak Fishing Fall Finale Results

West Texas Kayak Fishing Fall Finale Results

Well it was  cold windy day. Fishing was tough and the bite was slow, but Clay was able to figure them out to land a limit of fish for 65+ inches of Dunbar Lake Largemouth to take home first place along with the big bass lure pot. He beat 7 other anglers and won the tournament pitching a 3.5″ Electric Blue Berkley Havoc Pit Boss with 4/0 VMC flipping hook pegged with 3/8 tungsten weight and a summer shad color H20 Express shallow running crank. Clay made a video posted below of his winning ways for October 24th.

Thanks to all of you who came out and toughed it out in the cold windy day West Texas weather. We raffled off some gifts after the weigh in as well. Congrats to Brad Burch, Jace Green, Adam Sanchez, and Chris Russell for winning the prizes and we hope yall enjoy the them.

Thanks again to everyone that has come out and fished with us this year. Based on feedback from all of you we anticipate next year being a lot bigger and a lot better. Hope to see you all next year on the WTKF trail.
